Joe Rogan Goes Off On NSAC For Suspending Nick Diaz Five Years
It’s UFC commentator Joe Rogan’s turn to sound off on the Nevada State Athletic Commissions’ decision to suspend Nick Diaz for five years for testing positive for marijuana.
The UFC has yet to release any kind of statement, which is strange, since after Anderson Silva was given his one years suspension for using steroids, the promotion was pretty quick to respond. Just saying.
President Dana White commented, sort of, on Twitter, but basically said his opinion doesn’t matter and didn’t really give his take.
However, UFC commentator Joe Rogan didn’t hold back on his feelings and also took to Twitter to say that, “NSAC suspending Nick Diaz for 5 years for pot is an irresponsible abuse of power. It’s callous, idiotic and sickening.”
Check out his tweets below:

Unless there's scientific proof that marijuana is a performance enhancing drug that gives an unfair advantage it should not be restricted.

It really seems that everyone is on a united front here. There really hasn’t been one person who’s sided with the NSAC in the situation. Do you think all this support will ultimately lead to any kind of change?
