Matt Mitrione expected to undergo surgery to repair broken orbital

At ‘UFC Fight Night: Boston’ Matt Mitrione suffered one of the most gruesome eye injuries in the history of the sport after being poked in the eyes twice by Travis Brwone, and then having his orbital broken by a punch.
To Mitrione’s credit he fought through the eye pokes to the best of his abilities until the referee stopped the fight.
While his eye is healing up nicely, according to Ariel Helwani of MMAFighting he will have to undergo surgery to repair the broken bone.
