When you’re a UFC champion the work never ends. Constantly promoting, always answering the same questions hundreds of different ways thousands of times, media obligations non-stop and somehow, someway Joanna Jedrzejczyk gets it done all with a smile on her face.
Jedrzejczyk found out last month that her next opponent was in fact a fighter that she fought in 2014 and won via split decision victory. Claudia Gadelha hasn’t been as active as you would expect for a title contender. Two fights in 2014 which she split 1-1 and one fight last year against Jessica Aguilar which she won by decision.
Is Gadelha ready to rematch the striking guru in Jedrzejczyk?
The UFC tentatively has reserved the Madison Square Garden on April 23rd for a highly anticipated Jon Jones vs. Daniel Cormier rematch at UFC 198 without knowing for certain whether or not New York will allow the UFC to host an event there.
