Pros React To Erick Silva Submitting Josh Koscheck
In the co-main event of last nights UFC Fight Night 62 welterweights Josh Koscheck and Erick Silva faced off. Kos took the fight on short notice after losing to Jake Ellenberger at UFC 184.
Coming into the fight, Silva had won his last match and looked to get the first two-fight win steak of his UFC career. While Kos looked to avoid dropping 5 straight.
The fight was brief, ending in the first round. After some wild exchanges on the feet the fight went to the mat where Silva locked in a guillotine choke, forcing the veteran to tap. Here’s what the MMA world had to say about the fight.
@JoshKoscheck if that was your last fight, thanks for all the hard fought battles and years of hard work it took. #respect

He fought hard and swung for the KO but he didn’t look like he tried to hard to get out of that choke. Two quick, nice payday & great career
