Reebok Has Terminated Sponsorship of Jon Jones
Reebok has decided to part ways with former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones in light of his recent run in with the law. This happened less than a day after the UFC President decided to strip Jones of his championship and suspend him while he takes care of his legal issues.
This isn’t the first time Jon Jones has lost a major athletic sponsorship. Late last year, Jones said he lost his Nike sponsorship as a result of several issues stemming from his scuffle with Daniel Cormier.
ESPN Business Insider Darren Rovell broke the news through Twitter:
BREAKING: Reebok has terminated the contract of UFC fighter Jon Jones effective immediately.
