After it was announced that the UFC would be changing their fighter pay structure to tenure rather than rankings, UFC veterans were excited to learn more details.

UFC recently sent out an e-mail to their fighters and Cody Gibson leaked the specifics of the payout:

Fighters who has between one and five fights within the octagon will make only $2,500 per fight under the new system. Fighters with six to ten UFC bouts will make $5,000 while fighters with eleven to fifteen will make $10,000. Veterans with 16 to 20 fights will earn $15,000 and those with twenty-one and higher will get $20,000 per bout. Champions and challengers are on a different pay structure. If you are challenging for the title, you will earn $30,000 and the champion will earn $40,000. What do you think of the payout structure? Is it fair? Is it not enough money?
