Michael Bisping says Conor McGregor vs. Jose Aldo 2 should headline UFC 244

Fernando Quiles - August 13, 2019

Michael Bisping would like to see Conor McGregor and Jose Aldo run it back at UFC 244. A star in McGregor was born even before UFC 194 back in Dec. 2015, but that star certainly shined brighter than ever at that point. Leading up to the event, McGregor had been doing all he could to get under Aldo’s skin. From ripping Aldo for pulling out of fights, to yanking his title from the table during a press conference, McGregor wasn’t short on antics.

Johnny Walker wants to fight Jon Jones so 'everyone can see who is the real champion'

Adam Martin - August 13, 2019

Rising light heavyweight contender Johnny Walker is set to fight Corey Anderson next at UFC 244, but he still has his eyes set on a showdown against Jon Jones. The Brazilian star has been talking about a fight against Jones for the last few months. That didn’t stop when he spoke to the EuroBash Podcast recently and said he wants to fight Jones to prove he’s the best light heavyweight in the world. Thiago Santos wasn’t able to beat Jones, ultimately losing a narrow split decision, and Walker thinks he can do a better job against the champ if he gets the opportunity to fight him.

Tom Taylor - August 13, 2019

Former UFC heavyweight Fabricio Werdum is currently serving the remainder of a USADA suspension, but he is still surveying his division very closely. That means he’ll be watching the main event of this weekend’s UFC 241 card, which will pit reigning heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier against the former champ Stipe Miocic. Speaking to MMA Junkie, Fabricio Werdum gave his take on this matchup. While Daniel Cormier defeated Stipe Miocic by knockout when they first fought in July, 2018, Werdum expects Miocic to win a decision in their second meeting.

The bout was scheduled to take place back in Nov. 2018. Poirier was forced off the card due to an injury. “The Diamond” questioned whether or not the bout would’ve even taken place had the injury never occurred as he implied that Diaz was being difficult during negotiations.

Daniel Cormier calls Stipe Miocic a 'brat' for sitting out so long

At UFC 241, reigning UFC heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier will defend his title against the former champ Stipe Miocic. The bout will be a rematch of a July 2018 fight, which Cormier won by first-round knockout. Since that first fight, Cormier has fought once, defeating Derrick Lewis by submission in a successful title defense. Miocic, meanwhile, has not fought since. Instead, he’s been adamant that his accomplishments as the former champion warrant an immediate rematch with Cormier.

Darren Till updates on potential move to middleweight

Tom Taylor - August 13, 2019

Former UFC welterweight title challenger Darren Till has always endured a difficult cut the division’s weight limit. While he has hit that limit many times, it’s clearly taken a toll on many occasions, and he has failed to do so on several others. Given the difficultly Till has had hitting the welterweight limit, he’s long discussed a potential move up to the 185-pound middleweight division, where the cut might be less taxing.
