Late last year, the UFC began teasing a new belt design, but unfortunately, the chaos that surrounded the UFC 232 card delayed the promotion’s plan to reveal this new title belt. On Friday morning, just a day ahead of the promotion’s first card on ESPN+, the new belt was finally revealed. The belt will gets it’s official reveal during tomorrow nights’ card.

Over the last few weeks, there’s been renewed buzz about a potential rematch between UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and former champion Conor McGregor. UFC President Dana White has suggested the fight could be coming, and even Nurmagomedov’s coach Javier Mendez seems to want to see it next. Khabib Nurmagomedov himself, however, is dismissive of a potential rematch with Conor McGregor.

The next fight of UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov remains a mystery. In the opinion of Nurmagomedov’s head coach Javier Mendez, however, the best option available is a rematch with Conor McGregor, who Nurmagomedov defeated at UFC 229 on October 6. “I look at this as more of a prizefight than I do sport,” Javier Mendez told Off The Brawl,outlining his pick for the next fight of Khabib Nurmagomedov. “I want the biggest prizefight and the biggest prizefight hands down is, there’s no comparison, it’s Conor. Obviously, I want a rematch, because that’s what it is, the biggest prizefight, right? Because of what happened the last time there’s more interest on the second one, there’s a rematch to be had. For me, I would rather have that.”

This bout will be Ostovich’s first since she was allegedly assaulted by her husband in an attack that left her with a broken orbital bone.
TJ Dillashaw fires back at 'scared' Henry Cejudo

Earlier this week, UFC flyweight champion Henry Cejudo made some rather hostile remarks about his next challenger, slimmed-down bantamweight champ TJ Dillashaw. Cejudo seemed particularly concerned about Dillashaw’s flyweight physique, and whether or not the bantamweight champ will hit the 125-pound flyweight limit for their Saturday night fight. “Personally, I think he looks like Pee-wee Herman if you ask me,” Cejudo said of Dillashaw on Monday’s edition of The MMA Hour (transcript via MMA Fighting). “In the physique way, I really do feel like he looks like Pee-wee Herman. … I thought he’d have a little more bulk to him, but I guess not. He’s not looking so well. It looks like he needs a cup of water. He looks like a cross country runner.”

This Saturday, when the UFC debuts on ESPN+, Donald Cerrone returns to our screens for a fan friendly matchup with rising lightweight contender Alexander Hernandez. Before this matchup with Hernandez was announced, it briefly sounded as though Donald Cerrone could be the man to welcome former UFC lightweight and featherweight champ Conor McGregor back to the Octagon — although the rumors of this fight never evolved into reality.

Some had major question marks surrounding Dillashaw’s weight cut, while another fighter couldn’t even make a pick.

The last time we saw Brock Lesnar near a cage it was following Daniel Cormier’s historic heavyweight title victory at UFC 226 this past July. Since then, we haven’t heard much of anything regarding the former UFC champion. However this week, the University of Minnesota posted on their Twitter account some training footage that shows Lesnar is back on the mats.
