Miesha Tate and her incredible outfit had 'Cupcake' fans freaking out!

Miesha “Cupcake” Tate showed up in style at the UFC 197 Press Conference on Wednesday. Before her face off with the UFC women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm, Tate and Holm answered questions from the media. Tate who was thinking about retirement after getting snubbed of a title shot is now content with facing a brand new challenge for the title against a great champion Holly Holm. Fans of “Cupcake” that tuned into the Press Conference were likely hoping to see more of Tate and Holm but a lot of the attention from the media was on UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor. When Tate and Holm stood up and went face to face, fans were gawking over the outfit Tate was wearing for the event.

On Wednesday, the championship fighters competing at UFC 197 appeared for a press conference to talk about their upcoming bouts on March 5. In attendance were UFC women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm, her opponent Miesha Tate and lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos along with the featherweight champion challenging for the lightweight title, Conor McGregor.

Jose Aldo was undoubtably and understandably devastated by his 13 second KO loss to Conor McGregor at UFC 194. After a world tour leading up to UFC 189, and then many more months of buildup leading to UFC 194, Aldo certainly felt the pressure going into the fight. Shortly after it was announced that Conor McGregor would be moving up to lightweight to fight Rafael dos Anjos for the lightweight strap at UFC 197 on March 5th, it was revealed that McGregor could even go up to welterweight to challenge Robbie Lawler for his welterweight championship. At the UFC 197 press conference Wednesday afternoon McGregor once again brought up the possibility of fighting at welterweight, further adding to the hype surrounding ‘Notorious’ fighting in a 3rd weight class.

On hand for the event was UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos, UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor, UFC women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm, and Miesha Tate.

“Kenny Florian, stop copying and pasting man.” Those were the words from Dominick Cruz in his post-fight interview in the Octagon after taking the UFC bantamweight belt from T.J. Dillashaw. The verbal jab from Cruz was regarding Kenny Florian’s recent case of plagiarism on a fight breakdown he did on the FOX Sports website, which got him suspended from the media company.

Matt Mitrione’s eye looks to be healing and looking much better than it did immediately after the fight with Travis Browne at UFC Fight Night 81 in Boston on Sunday. Mitrione posted a photo update after the fight and another at the doctor getting his swollen eye drained. Mitrione found out through doctors that he suffered a broken orbital floor in his controversial fight with Browne where Mitrione suffered two accidental eye pokes, which he feels hindered his abilities to fight to the best of his potential.
