Junior dos Santos: ‘I Hope Overeem Doesn’t Fail The Drug Test This Time’
Just early today, the UFC announced that heavyweights Junior dos Santos and Alistair Overeem would be fighting at UFC on FOX 17, on Dec. 19 in Orlando, FL.
Right after the fight was announced, the former UFC champ, Dos Santos, took to Instagram and took a few shots at Overeem.
The two have already been going back forth, before the fight was even made official and it looks like things aren’t going to change.
Dos Santos said:
“I don’t choose opponents, but I’m not gonna lie — it will feel great to shut this guy up. USADA Let’s work.”
Then he said, in Portuguese:
“I hope he doesn’t fail the drug test this time.”
Overeem has been calling for a fight with Dos Santos for a while now and it looks like he got what he wanted. Do you think he’ll regret calling out the former UFC champ?
UFC on FOX 17 is shaping up to be an awesome card, with Nate Diaz vs. Michael Johnson and a title fight between Rafael dos Anjos and Donald Cerrone.
