Nick Diaz Wannabe Calls Out Floyd Mayweather For Not Fighting Conor McGregor

Internet trolls, they’er a tricky breed of human being. The main definition of a troll is someone who waits for someone to post something on the internet, usually something positive or harmless, then they jump in and leave hateful/negative/aggressive comments.

The trolls are everywhere. On message boards and forums and social media, including Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Looking for a good example of a classic troll move. Here’s a good one.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. recently took to Instagram to post a photo of a new shirt that he’s selling for his supposedly last fight ever. He says, in the post, that a portion of the proceeds will go to The Floyd Mayweather Jr. Foundation.

Sounds pretty good right, I mean sure the guys gets a lot of crap for lots of different reasons, but he’s selling a shirt and giving money to charity, sounds good. In fact, sounds just like something UFC champ Ronda Rousey did with her D.N.B shirts.

However, among the comments of the post, a troll emerged.

Caption of post:

“Here it is! The only OFFICIAL supporter shirt for my LAST FIGHT EVER. represent.com/floyd I am proud to be donating a portion of the proceeds to The Floyd Mayweather Jr. Foundation which focuses on community health, wellness and youth education. Link to buy in my bio.”

This specific troll used a phrase straight out of UFC fighter Nick Diaz’s mouth, telling Mayweather ‘Don’t be scared homie.’ Then proceeded to call him out for not fighting UFC interim featherweight champ Conor McGregor.

What’s the point here? Well, just that the internet can be a cruel, cruel place…….
