After UFC Win, Josh Barnett Might Never Fight Again
This past weekend, UFC heavyweight Josh Barnett defeated Roy Nelson at UFC Fight Night: Japan in a five round battle.
Barnett looked incredible in the fight, keeping a super fast pace and pressuring Nelson for a the majority of the fight, clinching and landing big strikes often. Right after the fight everyone started talking about possible match-ups for the former champ, including Andrei Arlovski or maybe even a rematch with Travis Browne.
However, there’s a chance we’ll never see Barnett in the octagon again.
On Wednesday’s UFC Tonight, it was announced that Barnett’s manager, Leland Lebarre, said the fighter will probably be working on a movie now and he might not fight anymore.
“Josh is healthy and could conceivably walk right into an elimination title fight right now because he is at peak physical condition. However, he has big movie offer and frankly they pay better.”
Lebarre said, in the report, that he could see Barnett fighting in two months, or two years, or possibly never again.
So, do you guys want to see Barnett fight again?
