Alistair Overeem defeated former champion Junior dos Santos last night in a battle of champions that ended possible title hopes for dos Anjos in 2016.
Overeem will need to wait for the outcome of the Arlovski vs Miocic fight next month on January 2nd to see what his next move will be moving into the new year.
