Amanda Nunes: ‘I’m Gonna Finish Miesha Tate’
The fight hasn’t been made official but UFC bantamweight fighter Amanda Nunes already knows that if she gets a fight with Miesha Tate, she’s going to finish it.
Her manager told MMAFighting that the UFC have not contacted them about a fight with Tate, but that she would absolutely take it if offered.
UFC presidnet Dana White even said that he wants that fight to happen at UFC 195, the same card that will be headlined by Ronda Rousey vs. Holly Holm.
Here’s what Nunes said:
“I really believe wherever this fight goes, I’m gonna finish her.”
“It took me by surprise, but I’m OK. I’m not upset. I want to fight soon and if Miesha isn’t going to fight [Rousey] any more, I’ll take this fight. I don’t have a problem fighting Miesha.”
Nunes made reference to not being upset because her resume is a lot stronger and she is ranked higher than Holly Holm.
