Anderson Silva Passes Second Out-Of-Competition Drug Test
The NSAC revealed today that Anderson Silva passed a second drug test, issued on January 19th to test for HGH.
The commission took a blood sample for the HGH test, and a urine sample for the PED test, which Silva also passed.
The HGH testing was done at a Salt Lake City WADA-accredited Sports Medicine Research and Testing Laboratory.
The results of Silva’s fight night drug test on January 31st are still unknown at this time.
On February 5th it was revealed that Silva tested positive for 2 anabolic steroids on a January 9th test. Since then he has been temporarily suspended pending an NSAC hearing on February 17th, and has been pulled from his coaching duties on ‘TUF Brazil 4’.
