Belfort: “I’m still in TRT”
Last year when TRT was banned by the NSAC there was much speculation as to how fighters who were using the treatment would fair against their opponents without the controversial therapy.
Vitor Belfort, widely believed to be the poster child for TRT, took the brunt of criticism from anti-TRT folks who noted his smaller size leading up to his UFC 187 title fight against Chris Weidman.
Belfort appeared on Inside MMA to reveal that he is still on TRT, but not testosterone replacement therapy.
I’m still in the treatment. I’m still in TRT, but I have a new version for that. You guys want to hear? It’s true revival touch. Make me alive, you’ve got to get that!”
We’re not sure how true revival touch works, but only time will tell whether or not it helps Belfort in his fight against Dan Henderson at ‘UFC Fight Night: Sao Paulo’ on November 7th.
