Ben Rothwell, Frank Mir Both Get TRT Exemptions For UFC 164

According to reports, a new face has hit the controversial TRT button and received an exemption for the therapeutic use of Testosterone in competition.

That face belongs to UFC heavyweight fighter, Ben Rothwell.

Rothwell actively sought and received an exemption from the state of Wisconsin to use the controversial therapy in advance of his UFC 164 bout against Brandon Vera.

Former UFC heavyweight champion, Frank Mir, who is a previous user, also received the same exemption.

UFC 164 takes place a week from Saturday at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee. The pay-per-view event featured a lightweight title fight between Benson Henderson and Anthony Pettis in the main event.
