Big Nog Credits Fedor As Being Biggest Challenge Of His Career

By BJPENN.COM News - September 3, 2015

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira aka Big Nog has retired from MMA and will now work for the UFC as their Brazilian Ambassador.

There’s no denying the heavyweights legendary career. He’s fought the best of the best, including Fedor Emelianenko, not once, not twice, but three times.

The larger Nogueira brother recently talked to MMAJunkie Radio and told them that he considers Fedor to be his biggest challenge throughout his long career.

Nogueira commented on Fedor’s return and, possible, signing with the UFC. He had nothing but nice things to say about the Russian and wished him good luck.

Here’s what he said:

“For me, he’s the most respectful fighter I ever fought. I faced him three times in three big fights, and I have memories of each fight and each camp. It was my biggest challenge. I hope he’s going to do well.”

“I’m very excited to watch him. He wasn’t given the best couple fights, but in his last fight he beat Pedro Rizzo. But I hope he has luck.”
