“Bones” Knows Intensity: See For Yourself
Jon “Bones” Jones is looking back on track, as of late. After legal matters that stemmed from a hit and run incident that happened last April, and eventually getting reinstated by the UFC last month, the former UFC lightweight champion is rumored to be fighting at UFC 198 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Jones will possibly see a return to the octagon at the UFC 198 card on April 23rd of next year, but efforts to obtain the proper licenses to hold the event in New York City maintain an ongoing legal one that is yet to be resolved.
“We believe fight fans have waited long enough to experience live UFC events in the state of New York and we are thrilled to announce our first event at Madison Square Garden,” UFC Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Lawrence Epstein stated in a release. “Professional MMA is legal around of the world and it is about time New York followed suit.”
We’ll follow up on the New York UFC/Ban as the news unfolds. For now, enjoy the video.
