Brown: ‘I’ve always had respect for women’s MMA

“I’ve always had respect for women’s MMA, and I definitely have a deeper respect at this point than I did then for what Rousey’s done, and I have a high respect for all them girls. They work their tails off and they get in there and perform well. They put on really good fights all the time, so I don’t take nothing away from it at all. We’ve got some talented girls in there, so I’ll watch girls fight any time, and I’ll go cheer for them.”

Despite past statements to the contrary, UFC welterweight Matt Brown says he’s always held the female fighters in high regard.
