Cain Velasquez: ‘Fabricio Werdum Is Two-Faced’
“To me it seemed to be two-faced. Don’t say something insulting to me. Stick to your guns. Don’t come up to me the next day and try to be buddy-buddy with me.”
“I was born in America and I’m proud to be American, but my parents are from Mexico and I’m proud of my heritage, too. You just don’t say things like that.”
That’s what UFC champ Cain Velasquez had to say about his opponent Fabricio Werdum’s comments, while at the open workouts yesterday. Werdum said, during an episode of Embedded, that Velasquez was not a real Mexican, just an American trying to be a Mexican. Yesterday Werdum tried to shake Velasquez’s hand but the champ said no.
