Cejudo gives conditions for fighting for UFC championship in Vegas
Henry Cejudo extended his undefeated record this past weekend when he picked up a split decision win over Jussier Formiga in Monterrey Mexico.
UFC flyweight kingpin Demetrious Johnson was on hand for the fight, because the winner of the bout would likely be his next opponent.
Following the win, it has been assumed that Cejudo would be the next challenger for Johnson’s belt.
He spoke after the bout to discus whether or not he would still refuse to fight in Vegas due to the Nick Diaz suspension.
“I believe Nick Diaz, there’s due process going on, so as soon as that gets overturned, we can talk. I mean, obviously, I’m not my own boss, but I’d have to sit down and talk to everybody from the UFC and decide what I’m going to do.”
If push comes to shove, do you think Cejudo would refuse to fight for the UFC flyweight championship in Vegas? Sound off below PENN Nation!
