Chael Sonnen Apologizes To Varner For Foul On-Air Comments

Poor Jamie Varner.

Following a disappointing outing at last weekend’s UFC 173 event, the former WEC champ was dissed on-air by Chael Sonnen. Sonnen, without regard, took to his analyst slot on FOX Sports 1 to breakdown Varner’s injuries and chalk them up to him faking it to get out of the fight.

Obviously, he was wrong. Varner suffered two-broken bones and torn ligaments, and continued to fight until the bell sounded. ON ONE LEG!

Chael apologized:
