Charles Oliveira eyeing fight with Conor McGregor
Charles ‘Do Bronx’ Oliveira is currently coming off a loss to Max Holloway after suffering an esophagus tear, and while he may have a fight against Myles Jury coming up, that hasn’t stopped him from contemplating about a fight against UFC interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor.
The way Oliveira sees it, his Jiu-Jitsu would be the x-factor.
He spoke to BloodyElbow:
“He is very tough. Since all fights begin standing up, I would have to work on my striking a lot, but Chad Mendes showed what Conor is like on the ground, he had his way with him. No doubt my Jiu-Jitsu is one of the best in the division so it would be like a black belt facing a white belt. I think he has been beating guys because of the way he talks, he bothers them and that can’t happen. I have a dream to fight against the best and he is one of the toughest guys in the division, so I’m sure this fight will happen. When it does, he can say whatever he wants, it won’t faze me. I will do what I do best. I will walk forward and use my Jiu-Jitsu.”
What do you think PENN Nation? Who would win between Oliveira and McGregor?
