Chiesa: “I Don’t Trust The Judges At All”
Michael Chiesa is currently gearing up for his next fight, which will go down at UFC Fight Night 63 in Virginia against Mitch Clarke.
Ahead of the bout however, Chiesa cornered his teammate Sam Sicilia against Akira Corassani in Stockholm this past weekend, and spoke to media members about his lack of faith in the judges when he steps into the Octagon.
“I don’t like going to a decision. I’d rather go out on my shield or get a finish. It’s just something that, just like Tyron said, if fans and people that criticize took one MMA fight, maybe they’d understand what we have to go through for a job. We’re not just doing this recreationally. We’re doing this to put some bread on the table, pay our bills and hopefully secure a future for us.”
“For me, a win, is priceless. You can’t put a price tag on it – especially when you look at your professional record. I mean, you can’t erase a loss. You can’t take back a win. So I would give back the $50,000 bonus any day for a ‘W.’ Period.”
