Chris Leben Promises To Stay Clean Despite His Loss at UFC 162
It’s easy to see why Chris Leben has become a fan favorite in the UFC. Since his time as a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter: Season One, he has matured in front of our eyes and turned his life around so many times. There are moments in his career that will go down in UFC history as some of the greatest ever, and there are moments outside of the octagon that people would like to forget.
Most recently, Chris Leben failed a drug test following his loss against Mark Munoz at UFC 138. As a result of testing positive for the pain killers, Leben was forced out of action for a year. Since his return to the octagon, he has lost two straight decisions in a row. Despite those losses, he remains a fan favorite and is looking to keep them on his side.
“The Crippler” recently took to Twitter addressing fans about his past drug use in the midst of his recent loss.
“Well, I didn’t get the comeback story, but I promise you there will be no relapse story… Gonna stay strong & continue on the path.”
