Chris Weidman vs. Jon Jones? –– The Champ Says Absolutely!
UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman will face challenger Luke Rockhold at UFC 194. After that? Who knows, maybe he’ll fight former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones.
In a recent Q&A via the New York Mets Twitter account, Weidman answered questions from fans that ranged from all sorts of topics. One of them had to do with moving up to 205. Weidman said he does plan on going up, in a few years and would like to fight whoever the champion is at the time.
Later, Weidman answered a different question by saying that he would like to fight Jon Jones. Of course Jones is currently suspended pending all his legal issues, but there’s a good chance we’ll see him in the octagon again, after all, he makes the UFC a lot of money.
