Colton Smith set to welcome newcomer Carlos Ferreira in San Antonio

Ultimate Fighter season 16 winner and active duty service member Colton Smith will be welcoming Carlos Diego Ferreira to the octagon in San Antonio, Texas on June 28th.

Colton Smith has had difficulty finding success after winning the Ultimate Fighter, first dropping a TKO loss to Robbie Whitaker, and then losing via submission to Ultimate Fighter: Live winner Michael Chiesa. The fight against Chiesa marked Smith’s first fight at lightweight.

Carlos Ferreria is 9-0 in his professional MMA career, and is looking to make a big statement in the UFC with a win over Smith.
