Condit Wants to Avenge Woodley Loss after UFC Fight Night 67 Win

Carlos Condit could go down as one of the most game welterweights the Ultimate Fighting Championship has ever seen. He may not walk out of every fight with his hand raised, but he knows how to bring the crowd to their feet and put on a hell of a fight.

His performance against Thiago Alves this past Saturday at UFC Fight Night 67 may be one of the best we’ve seen from him in years. The last time we saw “The Natural Born Killer” step into the octagon, he had to be assisted out due to suffering an injured leg in his fight with Tyron Woodley.

“I would definitely like to avenge that loss,” Condit told MMAFighting. “Injury sucks, but it is part of the game. The day after that fight I called Dana White and told him I wanted the rematch and he told me I had it if I wanted. So, I’m definitely looking forward to that sometime in the future.”

Condit continued, “I don’t wanna take anything away… He won that fight, but I do feel that, had the fight not being stopped on the injury, I would have finished him. But what happened, happened. But I am looking forward to getting a rematch.”

Tyron Woodley has been calling out Johny Hendricks lately, but would you rather see him face Carlos Condit? Share your thoughts in the comment section below!
