Conor McGregor: ‘I Will Talk To Jose Aldo While I Break Him’
Recently it was announced that Jose Aldo would be defending his UFC featherweight strap against Conor McGregor at UFC 189 on July 11th.
Last night, ahead of UFC 183, Conor McGregor spoke to media members about his title shot, and about his desire to break Jose Aldo.
I am going to sprint straight for him. I won’t give him a second. I will be talking to him while I’m whooping on him at the same time. The same way I do with them all. I feel Aldo has made a career out of beating short stocky wrestlers that are not good on the feet. They’re intimidated on the feet and shoot from half away across the cage. I’m going to go in, and I’m going to break him. I’ll be on top of him from the bell. I will break Jose Aldo.
McGregor went on to discuss his recent confrontation with Jose Aldo following his win over Dennis Siver in Boston, where he jumped the cage and screamed in Aldo’s face.
He can laugh and he can smile all he wants, but I could see… Where was he when it was time to get into the cage? He was flown over to step into the cage, and all of a sudden superstition kicks in and he doesn’t want to step into the cage. Superstition for me is another word for fear. I will break him mentally and I will break him physically.
