Court Documents Show Reason Behind Thiago Silva Acquittal

The Broward State Attorney’s Office has released the legal documents surrounding the recent acquittal of newly re-hired UFC light-heavyweight Thiago Silva.
The documents, released via Deadspin, explain that Silva’s ex-wife (the alleged victim) failed to cooperate with the state’s investigation and would not talk to detectives or provide evidence of her claims. She later left the country, forcing authorities to drop the case.
