“Cowboy” refuses to wait until February for Dos Anjos, eyeing move up to 170
Donald Cerrone may be one of the toughest individuals to ever step foot in the octagon. “Cowboy” is currently riding a gigantic wave of momentum in the form of an eight fight win streak.
His most recent victory against John Makdessi at UFC 187 secured him a shot at the UFC Lightweight Championship, which is currently in the possession of an injured Rafael dos Anjos. The problem lies within Cerrone’s urge to stay active in the octagon; Dos Anjos could be nursing his injury until February and Cerrone does NOT want to wait that long:
“@DStandridge92: Looks like u probably won't fight until February. !”
I will not wait that long. Need something soon or I'm going to 170
