Cyborg books next fight at 145 pounds in wake of Rousey loss
Following Holly Holm’s flawless and dominant win over Ronda Rousey at UFC 193, it was revealed by UFC President Dana White that Rousey would in fact be getting an immediate rematch against Holm when she’s ready.
With that being said, Cris Cyborg has booked her next fight at 145 pounds, seemingly abandoning her plan to eventually cut down to 135 pounds for a superfight against Rousey.
Invicta FC President Shannon Knapp spoke on InsideMMA:
“Cyborg’s next fight will be at 145 pounds. This will be the first time she has competed without hydrating herself with an IV so she’s made the decision to go ahead and defend her belt.”
