Cyborg: ‘Dana White No Longer Has Excuses’

By BJPENN.COM News - March 28, 2014

Former Strikeforce champion and current Invicta FC champ, Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino (formerly Santos), is one of MMA’s most feared athletes.

Her reign of dominance has, so far, spanned the course of nine-straight-years.

Let me repeat that. She hasn’t lost in nine-years!!.

Her only defeat came in her pro-debut via submission, and ever since, she’s been unstoppable. In that nine-year unbeaten timeframe Cris has stopped all but two of her opponents and has ascended to championship heights in multiple promotions.

Without a doubt, she belongs in the UFC. However,  issues like weight-class, management and a questionable, ‘alleged’, past with Performance Enhancers, have been sticking points as to why she isn’t there.

That’s all changing.

Not only did she recently pass a surprise-random drug test by the NSAC, but she got rid of Tito Ortiz as her manager and has agreed to drop to 135 pounds.

Problems solved.

In a recent interview with MMAJunkie.com Radio, Cris stated that her goal is to get to the UFC and Fight Ronda Rousey. She also noted, that with her plans set in motion, Dana White won’t have any excuses when it comes to signing her.

“He doesn’t have any more excuses, because I don’t work any more with Tito,” the Invicta FC Champ said. “He’s no longer my manager. I’m waiting.”

‘Cyborg fights tonight on AXS TV where she will attempt to become a two-sport champion, in tonight’s main event.
