Dana White Defends: ‘Reebok Deal Not Just Cash, It’s Product Too’

UFC president Dana White is doing his best to spin this Reebok deal into a more favorable light.

White is constantly yielding questions about the deal and how it affects his fighters. On a recent interview Sports Talk Live, White answered questions about the deal and about the backlash. Here’s what he had to say on the matter.

“Oh yeah… Well, yeah. The deal, the Reebok deal is not all in cash, either. It’s product, too. Um, you know, so… It’s a good deal. It’s not a bad deal.”

“Listen, change… Every time we change anything here, it’s part of the evolution of the sport. You know, everybody…everybody goes crazy. Um, you know, it’s part of the deal. It’s time, it’s the right time for this to happen. This sport needs it, and um, it is what it is. It’ll die down.”

Only time will tell if these things ends up working out for all parties involved.
