Diaz on Pettis: Whether it’s today or tomorrow, he’s gonna get got
Nate Diaz will return to the octagon this Saturday night when he squares off with Rafael dos Anjos in a key lightweight bout at UFC on FOX 13.
Nate knows that a victory over “RDA” would boost him back in to title contention and get him one step closer to his goal of fighting Anthony Pettis:
“That’s my objective is to fight Anthony Pettis,” Diaz told MMAJunkie. “He just fought my partner, and now it’s my turn. I have an objective here. I’m impressed that he beat Gilbert. That’s the No. 1 or No. 2 guy. But I’m going to get that motherf—-ker. Now I’m going to fight, and I’m going to get that dude. Whether it’s today or tomorrow, he’s gonna get got.”
If Nate is able to defeat dos Anjos at this weekend’s UFC on FOX 13 event, is a fight between the “Stockton Slugger” and “Showtime” one you would like to see put together by UFC officials? Sound off Penn Nation!
