Edgar vs. Swanson Targeted For UFC on FOX In December

In what will likely determine the UFC’s next 145 pound title challenger, Frankie Edgar and Cub Swanson are expected to headline the UFC on FOX 13 event set for December 13th.

UFC President Dana White announced the event, which will serve as the promotions debut in Phoenix, Arizona, during last night’s UFC on FOX 12 post-fight press conference, but stopped short of announcing any bouts.

Frankie Edgar’s manager, Ali Abdel Aziz handled that aspect, stating that the two top featherweights are to serve as the evenings main event.
