Edgar Won’t Wait For Title Shot––’I’ve Got Three Kids, I Need Money’
“I’ve got three kids, man. I’m trying to make some money. I’m not getting any younger. I want to challenge myself and keep improving. The best way to improve is to test yourself in the cage.”
“I don’t know. I’m going to leave that up to the UFC. I know a lot of guys aren’t really available, but I definitely do want to fight before the year’s out.”
UFC featherweight Frankie Edgar revealed to MMAJunkie that he wants to fight before the years over and will not wait around for the winner of Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor.
He’s not sure who he would fight though, since many of the top featherweights are currently sidelined with injuries.
