Frankie Edgar On Penn: ‘I have his number’
“I do think I have his number, every fight is different. I’m going to approach this as a new challenge. I’m not thinking he’s going to come in the same as he did the last two. I expect him to come in and change a little. I want to show my improvement over the last three years. I think he was kind of close to retirement and I think another loss will maybe decide it for him.”
Former UFC lightweight champion, Frankie ‘The Answer’ Edgar, tells UFC Tonight that he believes he will likely retire MMA legend, BJ Penn in their third meeting.
The two former champions are set to collide as coaches of The Ultimate Fighter season 19 and will face off in the cage sometime in April of 2014.
Frankie Edgar and BJ Penn have fought on two fseparate occasions, both times Edgar walked away the victor by earning unanimous decision victories.
