Gennady Golovkin says Rousey is the best female athlete in the world

Undefeated boxing champion Gennady Golovkin is a big fan of UFC champion Ronda Rousey.

The star boxer told MMAJunkie that Rousey deserves all the praise she receives as she is simply the best female athlete in the world.

“I know her; we’ve been training maybe two, three times together in boxing gym,” Golovkin stated. “She is nice lady. She’s great athlete. She’s the best female athlete in the world. She’s a beautiful lady and beautiful person. I like her. She’s tough.”

Golovkin puts his undefeated record on the line this Saturday night in New York when he meets David Lemieux in a middleweight title unification bout.
