Georges St-Pierre vs. Johny Hendricks Scheduled for Unannounced Fall Event
UFC welterweight champion, Georges St-Pierre (24-2) has been scheduled to defend his title against Johny Hendricks (15-1) at an unconfirmed event in the fall of this year most likely at an arena in Las Vegas. UFC president Dana White confirmed the news during a conversation with the media while promoting UFC 161.
St-Pierre last stepped in the Octagon at UFC 158, dominating Nick Diaz en route to a unanimous decision victory.
For Hendricks, UFC 158 brought similar success as he went to war with former #1 welterweight contender, Carlos Condit in a close fight in which Hendricks was able to prevail victorious. Now, Hendricks gets to put his elite wrestling and one-punch knockout power to the ultimate test as one more win in the Octagon means a world title.
