Glover Teixeira pitches KO bet with Vitor Belfort with this fulfilling deal at stake

Saturday features a card full of Brazil’s top talent including Glover Teixeira and Vitor Belfort at UFC Fight Night 77 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Teixeira faces Patrick Cummins while Belfort headlines the event against Dan Henderson.

In an interview with Sportv, Teixeira offered a sporty bet to Belfort with the loser having to pay for dinner.

“He (Patrick Cummins) is a tough guy, but I will look for the knockout all the time. And I will make a bet with Vitor Belfort, the same one I made with Jose Aldo before. Whoever knocks out their opponent first, the other one will have to pay for dinner. If I get a knockout in less time than him, he pays, if he knocks out first, I pay.”

Although Belfort has yet to comment on taking the offer, the bet adds a little more substance to just the fights.
