Guida vs. Bermudez Booked for UFC on FOX 12

An intriguing featherweight bout between Clay Guida and Dennis Bermudez has been booked for the UFC”s twelfth show on FOX.

UFC officials recently announced the bout as official.

UFC on FOX 12 is set for July 26 in San Jose, California. A main event has yet to be announced, however, Josh Thomson vs. Michael Johnson and ‘Lil Nog’ vs. Anthony Johnson have been confirmed for the growing card.

Guida last saw action in April besting, Japanese import, Tatsuya Kawajiri via decision. The victory marked just his second win in his last five fights.

Bermudez has made the most of his time in the UFC, following a disappointing end to his run on TUF that saw him lose the finale to Diego Brandao.  The TUF-runner-up is now 6-0 since losing that bout, with his most recent victory coming via TKO over Jimy Hettes.
