Dan Henderson Talks

Dan Henderson

Dan Henderson is witnessing a resurgence of his career after shutting the naysayers down when he knocked Tim Boetsch out in less than thirty seconds. For the first time ever, Henderson has ranked in the top fifteen of the middleweight division and is eyeing several fighters to avenge past losses.

“There’s probably two or three guys at middleweight I think the fans would like to see me fight,” Henderson told Frank Trigg of MMA Oddsbreaker. “Rematches with Anderson Silva, Vitor Belfort and I’d like to fight Gegard Mousasi because I didn’t really get a chance to fight him the first time.”

Henderson’s most devastating loss from the three men he listed came at the hands of Vitor Belfort at an event in Brazil. Both fighters are past users of testosterone replacement therapy, but Henderson believes the fight would have gone differently if it was in America.

“You know, it’d be a little bit different fighting him in the states,” Henderson said of Belfort. “Rather than where his doctor is the head of the head of the athletic commission… I think we’ve already seen changes in Vitor.”
