Dan Henderson Talks

Dan Henderson

Dan Henderson may be 44 years old, but he still has the power he did when he was PRIDE champion eight years ago! Henderson walked into the octagon on Saturday evening as the underdog and left with his head and hands raised high in victory. He was able to knock fellow middleweight Tim Boetsch out in just 28 seconds, and he isn’t done yet.

When asked at the UFC Fight Night 68 post-fight press conference whether this would be a proper send off, Henderson responded, “It would, but I guess I’ll have to do that in the next couple fights also.”

Doubters have been saying the long-time UFC fighter would be hanging up his gloves after “his next fight” for the past couple contests now, but Henderson keeps telling them he feels like he can keep fighting. Henderson told Jon Anik, “When I say I’m not done and nobody believes me, it’s nice to come out and prove that I’m not quite done yet.”

Dan Henderson has been fighting with the UFC since September 2007; Do you think he has what it takes to make another title run in either the light heavyweight or middleweight divisions? Who would be his kryptonite? Share your thoughts in the comment section below!
