Herb Dean draws main event duty for UFC 181

Veteran referee Herb Dean has drawn main event duty for UFC 181 next month.
Dean will referee the main-event between Johny Hendricks and Robbie Lawler, while fellow veteran referee ‘Big’ John McCarthy will referee the co-main event between Anthony Pettis and Gilbert Melendez.
Yves Lavigne will also referee the TUF 20 finale in December as well.
According to MMAJunkie, who confirmed the news of the assignments with the NSAC, The NSAC voted unanimously in support of Executive Director Bob Bennett’s referee selections for the events.
