Holly Holm vs. Raquel Pennington Set For UFC 181

A female bantamweight bout has been added to UFC 181, in the form of Holly Holm vs. Raquel Pennington.

‘UFC 181: Hendricks vs. Lawler II’ is set to go down on Dec. 6, from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

UFC officials announced the bout this afternoon.

Holly Holm is one of the sport’s top female prospects. She’s being ushered into the UFC as a title prospect for Ronda Rousey. The one-time P4P Boxing great brings an undefeated professional MMA record into her UFC debut.

Pennington is a TUF 18 veteran who made it to the semi-finals of the show, where she was then eliminated from the tournament. The former Invicta FC fighter is currently 1-1 in her post-TUF UFC stint.
