Iaquinta — ‘Cursing fans ripped my heart out’

In a post-fight interview Al Iaquinta talks about yelling at the crowd and how their boos ripped his heart out.

“I got extremely frustrated when the crowd was booing at me because I work so hard, I do this for the crowd. I want their appreciation, I want them to appreciate what I do in the cage. When they booed I don’t know if they were booing the judges but I looked in the crowd and I saw somebody giving me the middle finger, saying F-you. It just ripped my heart out because I train everyday so hard and that fight showed what I’m all about, toughness, coming back and getting the job done.”
