#Repost from @cameronrhanes — Moment of truth….in my opinion a lot of responsibility comes with the release of an arrow at a big game animal. Personally, I need to know before I drop the string, have I done everything in my power to be the very best I can be? Did I put in the time required with the goal of being infallible? Is my equipment up to the task?Mentally, am I strong and 100% confident in my ability. When I first started bowhunting 26 years ago, I hoped I'd hit what I was shooting at. Now, I KNOW I'm going to hit "The Spot". This process has taken lots of time and thousands of arrows. I'm not a great archer naturally but have had a lot of success for one reason, I've worked hard and truthfully been a little obsessed with bull elk. But I'll say, if I can make this transformation, you can too. Incidentally, I didn't shoot this bull. Let him go as he wasn't quite what I was after this season. I came to full and went through my aiming process for practice. #keephammering #uahunt #hardwork #dedication
