“Mighty Mouse” Gets New Challenge In The Form Of A Rematch

It looks like UFC flyweight John Dodson will get what he’s been asking for.

Announced on this weeks episode of UFC Tonight, Dodson will get the next title shot against flyweight king Demetrious Johnson.

There has been no venue or date set for the title fight yet. This will be a rematch from their fight at UFC on FOX 6, where Johnson won a unanimous decision.

Dodson is on a three fight win streak, with his last loss coming against Johnson. He’s had two finishes and his most recent win, over Zach Makovsky, was a unanimous decision.

Before this fight was announced the champ had expressed interest in fighting on the UFC 191 card, there’s a chance that’s where this fight will land. We will keep you posted.
